It can feel challenging to be a teacher engaged in English language instruction or bilingual education these days. Many in our student population are vulnerable. Federal support for public education is being reduced, and educators are far from the center of public discourse about who deserves access to education, and what that education looks like. What are your thoughts? How does this moment feel? What can NYS TESOL do to best support our members and their students?
