This in-person conference will bring together educators, community organizations, and advocates to share strategies, highlight the critical role of partnerships, and push back against anti-immigrant policies impacting students and families.

We are excited to announce Karla Cornejo Villavicencio as our Keynote Speaker. An acclaimed writer and scholar, Karla is the author of the National Book Award finalist The Undocumented Americans and the novel Catalina. The day will include a panel featuring national and local policy experts, including Lara Evangelista from Internationals Network, Tamara Mair from Project Open Arms, Vladimir Tlali from the New York Immigration Coalition, and Alejandra Vázquez Baur from the National Newcomer Network. The event will also include interactive breakout sessions designed to inspire critical dialogue and meaningful action. The full agenda is here.

Four (4) hours of CTLE credits will be available for eligible NYS educators who attend the conference.
