New York State Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages - Event Information

Event Name:What Makes an Effective Co-Teaching Team?
Description:

While this webinar series targets future teachers, it is also appropriate for current educators who are interested in co-teaching. In the first session, our panel, consisting of two co-teaching teams (1 content teacher and 1 ENL teacher) at the early and upper elementary levels, will address what it takes to co-teach and how to develop a positive relationship between the two teachers. The panel will share how they divide up the work, how they communicate before, during and after the lesson, and how they plan a lesson to co-teach. The panel will show and debrief a co-teaching video clip and they will answer questions from the audience.
