Event Description
Bring the creative art of storytelling to a new generation of students.This webinar will provide an introduction to designing digital storytelling projects that incorporate multiple modalities, develop multiliteracy skills while promoting language development. Learn how to engage your entire learning community in this creative and fun digital media experience. Eligible for 1 1/2 CTLE credits.
Heather Rubin is an administrator for the NYSED L.I. RBERN at Eastern Suffolk BOCES. She has over 20 years of experience supporting academic achievement and equity for English Language Learners as a teacher, administrator, author, and presenter. Her book "Digital-Age Teaching for English Learners 2ed.", was published in January 2022, with co-authors Lisa Estrada and Andrea Honigsfeld.
