Planning for Post-Covid Learning in Elementary Classrooms

Event Description
Participants will engage in a collaborative exchange to share lessons learned from the challenges of 2020-2021. As we share those lessons, participants will be asked to think about what parts of our learned experiences can we use to move our practice forward in a positive way, and which parts of pandemic-era remote teaching can be sustained in practice. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how our elementary SIG leaders have decided to use their own experiences from 2020-2021 to build a stronger framework for their own ENL programs and classrooms. SIG leaders will focus on four specific topics: Technology Lessons Learned, Planning for Inclusive Instruction, Differentiation Learning, Family and Community Connections.
